Summer of Art

DSCF1204

One of the objectives of the Trust is to preserve Reveley Lodge as an Art and Educational resource. This year we have increased our focus on Art substantially. In June, the promising young artist Emma Coroama had an exhibition of portraits in the Billiard room. She was followed in July by Brian Collins who had an exhibition of landscapes painted in Canada, as part of the celebration of our Canadian connections. We had our Artist Challenge on 8th July, which was won by Shirley Batten-Smith with her pen and ink drawing of the ‘insect-hotel’ in the grounds of Reveley Lodge. In July and August we have some workshops and an exhibition organised and run by our Artist in Residence, Sara Dryburgh.
